This nursing home run by Caring Homes Group had real issues with suitable staff and visitor parking with easy access from the home.
The scheme comprised of block paving to the main entrance and turning areas with grass grid parking bays to allow the development to sympathetically blend with its surroundings and allow water to drain and permeate naturally for the nearby tree roots. Lighting bollards were also installed and planting to finish and soften the perimeters.
There was also a need for a new bin compound away from the nursing home and accessible for refuse lorries. Valley also installed the compound with lighting.
The project was fully complete in October 2013 and continues to be functional and in heavy use on a daily basis.
Valley demonstrated the ability to take on the whole project and complete within the time-frames required. This was not an easy task with various set backs especially the inclement weather!
