We took over the complete external landscaping package on this picturesque farmhouse, after Brickfield Construction had completed a full refurbishment and extension of the existing property.
Working with Taylor Tripp Landscape Design we made this clients dream become a reality. A retirement home where they could entertain visitors easily and relax in a traditional farmhouse in ‘good old british country’. Our senior landscape consultants worked closely with the client to provide the very best advice in every area, even down to ensuring even the choice of new trees would compliment the property throughout the year.
The works begun with large soil excavation and movement to terrace and grade the rear garden and field. Extensive amounts of groundwork and drainage installation followed in the front drive with our experienced consultants mapping an effective and comprehensive plan for a working drainage system.
The rear garden was beautifully completed. With an infinity lawn, where the level and perfectly maintained main lawn seemily blends into the field below when sitting on the patio. Traditional reclaimed york stone paving completed this patio, including a contrasting new york sawn paving for the house steps. In the kitchen garden stands an Alitex Greenhouse looking out onto a large old copper water feature.
Out the front once more the bespoke automated Oak gates were finished, turf was laid, granite setts and corten steel edgings installed, and then the driveway was completed with a lovely soft country colour of resin bound driveway surfacing.
Our client had understandable high expectations for the quality of the project both in terms of the install and the management of its implementation. We were pleased to be able to fully satisfy these requirement delivering and completing the project in an efficient and professional manner to the highest of standards.
