Valley worked on this project in collaboration with Brickfield Construction who had been contracted to build a new, highly contemporary style property featuring slate cladding and corten steel as external finishes. Valley took on the full external landscaping package, the client had already formulated a driveway and garden design, but we were able to work with them to tweak the design to suit their specific requirements and budget.
The project package included a range of work, such as groundworks for all areas, paving, lawn preparation, and turfing with corten style edgings.
We installed the driveway, which featured entrances with granite thresholds and a surface laid to stone chippings leading to the main parking area. Following the groundwork and laying of the base course tarmacadam, we completed the parking area with a durable and visually appealing resin bound surfacing in a silver blend, providing a seamless and attractive finish
One of the standout features of the project was the installation of bespoke steel framed/cedar clad automated gates, which were designed to match the contemporary style of the property. We also implemented the soft landscaping plan, which included specified shrubs and trees and bulb planting finished with a bark surface.
In addition to the standard project package, we also completed several bespoke items, such as a 12' high bespoke timber screen and bin store. Our team also created an internal enclosed garden as part of the garden bathroom design, which added an extra layer of privacy and tranquility to the property.
Throughout the project, we worked closely with the client to ensure that all work was completed to their exact specifications, and within their budget. The end result was a stunning property that perfectly balanced contemporary design with functional and stylish landscaping, creating a truly unique and memorable space.
