Valley were offered to tender for works at Kenyngton Manor for the Howard Partnership less than 2 months before the proposed start date. Although the time frames were tighter than we usually work to, we were pleased to be able to turnaround the whole project in time and install within budget.

Kenyngton Manor was previously a secondary school and its playground, paths and enclosed tennis court area were in dire need of refurbishment and tailoring to the needs of a primary school environment.

The open areas of existing playground Valley completely resurfaced with new smooth tarmac. This included tree removal & groundworks over various areas prior to surfacing, due to water and root damage.

The enclosed area which was known by the children as ‘The Cage’, Valley transformed into a modern multi use games area enclosed with new heavy duty sports fencing, intergrating professional basketball hoops. Polymeric rubber surfacing, incorporating new tennis & netball nets, was laid over the whole area with colour surface painting and lines marked for multi sports.

Furthermore the school decided to have new preformed thermoplastic playground markings laid on the new tarmac playground, which brought the whole playground area to life and now provides further scope for outdoor learning and fun!

Valley were able to provide the expertise to not only professionally install the project, but also to complete within a time frame set by the client.
